Hobo Foil Dinner
  • 2 Carrots, sliced, peeled if you like too!!!
  • 2 Medium Potatoes, sliced, peeled if you like too!!
  • 2 Onions, sliced
  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef, however you want it. (Patties, balls, chunks)
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
Directions:
Cut an 18" piece of heavy duty aluminum foil into four squares. Divide vegetables into 4 equal portions along with the meat. Add salt & pepper. Put into aluminum foil fold and seal the edges. Remember to put the shinny side of the aluminum foil on the inside. Cook on a bed of hot coals for about 15 minutes on each side. You can use Chicken Breasts, Chicken Thighs boned of course, fish fillets, or stew meat if you like. You will have to adjust the cooking time for each one however.
With the Boy Scouts they have added left over Beef Jerky for the meat.
