Clear View Propane Tank Always Use Caution Around Gas
Composite propane tanks are now becoming the rage. The age-old metal LP gas tank for the barbecue's of the world is being replaced with a lighter, safer, easier-to-carry fiberglass propane tank where you can actually see the fuel level.

Ragasco AS is the leading worldwide developer and manufacturer of composite LPG cylinders with the Clear View tm line being the safest cylinders on the market. The non-metallic based liner and fiber glass reinforced pressure vessel will not explode under any circumstance and the use of non-corrosive materials make it exceptionally durable.

The Clear View tm cylinders are manufactured at Ragasco's high-volume production facility located in Raufoss, Norway. The ultra modern plant is the most advanced production line for composite pressure cylinders world-wide. The production line combines the latest blow molding and injection molding machinery with state-of-the-art filament winding technology in use with intelligent conveyor solutions and industrial robots.

The HDPE liner and composite pressure vessel has sufficient translucency for the user to see the liquid level of LPG inside the cylinder. The transparent feature enables the user to see the gas level through the wall of the cylinder, therefore eliminating the risk of running out of gas during an inopportune time. It also makes it possible for the consumer to verify that the cylinder has actually been filled with the right amount of LPG.

How does the cylinder perform in colder climates?
As part of the approval test program the cylinders are tested and approved down to -40C. The use of LPG in low temperatures is of course limited by the vaporization capability of the specific LPG mix.
Normally the casing will have no damage at low temperature if handled correctly, but it's less resistant to significant impact if handled severely.
